Back in the ’80s, the Scottish rock ‘n’ roll warriors Heavy Pettin were conquering stages all over the world, and their 1983 debut album “Lettin Loose” made it loud and clear that the band was on the verge of a commercial breakthrough. Heavy Pettin’ toured with Ozzy Osbourne and Mötley Crüe! The world was at the feet of these lads from Glasgow. Riding that wave of acclaim, an even better album followed two years later: “Rock Ain’t Dead” (1985), more mature and with an even broader production sound, flirting with AOR trends. The leap into the top tier of the world’s hard and heavy rock scene never happened, though. Four years later came the album “Big Bang”, and after that Heavy Pettin called it a day and went on a 30-year hiatus.

Dave “Davo” Aitken – guitar, backing vocals
