Martin Martian, also known as Martin Vogrič Dežman, is releasing a new track, Danes hočem plesat.
Danes hočem plesat is an energetic track about an unstoppable urge to dance, hang out, and live in the moment. The rhythm pulls you forward, and the catchy chorus says it loud and clear: sometimes it’s best to give in to the music and forget all your worries.
Music, lyrics, and production are all by Martin Vogrič Dežman.

Martin Martian, also known as Martin Vogrič Dežman, is a Martian who has set up a temporary home on Earth. He skillfully catches his life here in lyrics that play with memories and coincidences, honestly and at times with a cheeky streak. Pop rhythms set the overall sound, but Martin doesn’t box himself into one genre in his universe. Funk melodies and electronic touches creep into the songs, and in some of them the ukulele takes the lead. His first released track, Moje napake, was named the best released song of 2020, while Roadtrip, recorded with Neomi, landed the Popevka tedna spot on Val 202. He presented his debut Slamnate poti together with his band Martin Martian and the Universe in January 2023 at Klub Cankarjevega doma.
Two years ago he released the track Ljubezen je, which Martin recorded together with Fed Horses.
