Metalite, the Swedish power metallers, are unveiling a new original single and video for the track Starchild, which you can check out below.
The band’s new original single follows its predecessor Our Time Has Come. Both singles are a teaser for the band’s upcoming new studio album, and the band recently moved over to Perception, a sub-label of the German label Reigning Phoenix Music.
The title of the new album is out: “Discovery”, which the band says will be a concept album.
Metalite were founded in 2015 by guitarist, main songwriter and producer Edwin Premberg and vocalist Emma Bensing. In 2017 they dropped their successful debut “Heroes Of Time”, which pointed to a rapid rise. In 2019 came “Biomechanicals”, which cemented the band’s position on the international scene, and Metalite carried on their musical evolution with the third album “A Virtual World”, released in 2021. The latest album, still the current one, “Expedition One”, came out in 2024.
