Minipony Drop Their New Album “Detach”
Ecuadorian progressive metal trio Minipony released their third studio album “Detach” today, 7/24/2026, and it’s out now via Subsound Records.
Musically, “Detach” unfolds like an intense journey through a mix of technical metal, mathcore and djent-flavored bursts, enriched with Latin melody and rhythm. Massive, low-tuned guitars, rhythmic complexity and guttural vocals fuse into a sound that grabs you right away.
The album was recorded by Amadeus Galiano at Borgo 41 studio in Lumbisí, Ecuador, and mixed by Jamie Uertz (known for his work on Gojira’s “Magma”). It shows Minipony in a new light, even more expressive, honest and uncompromising. The band’s sonic identity has never been this all-encompassing.
