Nightwish Part Ways With Singer Floor Jansen!
Nightwish, global icons of symphonic power metal, have announced that they’ve parted ways with singer Floor Jansen.
After much deliberation, both Floor and the members of Nightwish made a joint decision that it’s best for everyone to continue on their own musical paths.
The split happened on friendly terms, and both sides wish each other nothing but success as they carry on with their musical careers.
Nightwish also add that next year they’ll head into the studio to record a new studio album.

Floor Jansen officially joined Nightwish in 2013, though back in 2012 she’d already helped the band wrap up the “Imaginaerum” tour after singer Anette Olzon left them at the time. With Nightwish she recorded three studio albums, “Endless Forms Most Beautiful” (2015), “Human. :II: Nature.” (2020) and “Yesterwynde” (2024), plus three live albums, “Showtime, Storytime” (2013), “Vehicle of Spirit” (2016) and “Decades: Live in Buenos Aires” (2019). In 2023 she released her first solo studio album, “Paragon”, and its follow-up, “Hytress”, is planned for January 2027.
