Peter Gabriel, renowned singer-songwriter and British prog rock icon, has released the ‘bright-side’ mix of his new single Face The Wall (mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent). The new single will appear on Gabriel’s upcoming album “o\i”, due out on 27 November 2026 via Real World Music Ltd / Sony Music Publishing.

Judging by how the singles have been coming out, with each one landing in a ‘bright side’ mix and then a ‘dark side’ mix (or the other way around), we can expect Gabriel to put out the new album in two differently mixed versions!

Face The Wall actually came out 14 days ago, in the ‘dark side’ version.

We can expect the next single from Peter Gabriel in two weeks, when the full (October) moon rises.

Before this new single, Gabriel unveiled the singles Looking For The Happy, Won’t Stand Down, What Lies Ahead, Been Undone, Put The Bucket Down, What Lies Ahead and Till Your Mind Is Shining.

The album is slowly taking its full shape over the course of this year, just like Gabriel did with its predecessor “i/o” back in 2023. Every single drops on the full moon. This time around, too, there will be a “dark-side” and a “bright-side” mix, with Tchad Blake and Mark ‘Spike’ Stent once again handling the mixing duties.

All the tracks on the album were written and produced by Peter Gabriel and recorded at Real World Studios in Bath and The Beehive in London.

You can already pre-order the album “o/i” in all formats!
