Seventh Wonder, the superb Swedish progressive metal outfit, are announcing their new studio album “VII”, out on January 29, 2027 via Italy’s Frontiers Music Srl.
Below you’ll find the first single from the album and the video for the track Memories.
You can already pre-order “VII”.
Seventh Wonder are a hugely respected progressive metal act. Andreas Blomqvist founded them in Stockholm in 2000. By 2022 they’d racked up six studio albums, and their one-time singer Tommy Karevik, bound by his obligations to the far more successful and world-famous symphonic power metallers Kamelot, had to leave Seventh Wonder for good in the summer of 2023. At the start of 2026, the excellent Swedish vocalist Mattias Olofsson joined Seventh Wonder; among other things, he recorded two studio albums with the Swedish melodic rockers Grand.
The band is also planning a series of new live shows for next year.
“VII” track list:
1. Memories
2. Riverside
3. The Villain And The Whisper
4. Evermore
5. Cry Wolf
6. The Storm
7. Silver Lining
8. Echoes
9. Ad Infinitum
Seventh Wonder’s current lineup:
Mattias Olofsson – vocals
Johan Liefvendahl – guitar
Andreas “Kyrt” Söderin – keyboards
