Shepherds Reign, a band from South Auckland, New Zealand, whose members are Polynesian by blood and heritage: Filiva’a James (vocals/keytar), Gideon Voon (guitar), Oliver Leupolu (guitar/production), Shaymen Rameka (drums) and Joseph Oti-George (bass), are dropping the official music video for their latest single TOA (which means “warrior”).
You can check out the video below.
Down in the southern hemisphere, Shepherds Reign are known for their primal live shows, which naturally fuse their music with their cultural heritage, carried with Polynesian pride. On top of the almost “intimidating” look of these five giants, their artistry comes with a tribal roar, towering guitar phrases, “twisted” twin melodies, contagious virtuosity and bombastic tribal rhythms! All of that is the foundation that gives the band the predatory dynamics of their crafted metal sound!
