Stick Men, the prog rock outfit made up of three world-class virtuosos with serious pedigree – Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto and Markus Reuter – are announcing their new studio album, “Let’s Thrak Again”.
Exactly ten years after their dark but masterful 2016 debut “Prog Noir”, the unbreakable trio is back on the scene. Made up of the legendary rhythm section of the iconic King Crimson – bassist Tony Levin and drummer Pat Mastelotto – plus touch guitar master and composer Markus Reuter, the band will release their long-awaited new studio album, »Let’s THRAK Again«, on September 4, 2026.
Landing 31 years after King Crimson’s groundbreaking 1995 album “Thrak”, the record is a kind of tribute to King Crimson, and its creation and release have the full backing of King Crimson founder Robert Fripp.
“Let’s Thrak Again” delivers 60 minutes of pure, kinetic energy. At the heart of Stick Men’s stunning sound is instrumental virtuosity that borders on telepathy. Tony Levin once again wields his signature Chapman Stick, while Markus Reuter shows off incredible versatility on his 8-string Touch guitar. Backed by Mastelotto’s hybrid acoustic-electronic drums, the trio pushes the limits of their instruments and opens up new horizons, both sonically and compositionally.

The album was written and produced by Stick Men. The “Reel One” mix was done by Stefano Castagna, the “Reel Two” mix by Fabio Trentini, and mastering was handled by Erik Emil Eskildsen.
The album was recorded in three different locations: Kingston (New York), Dripping Springs (Texas) and Berlin (Germany).
