The Scepter, Canadian heavy metal/power metal crew, will release their studio debut, »Shadows in the Tower«, later this year. The album is coming out on No Remorse Records. The release date and pre-order details will be announced later.
The Scepter are a heavy/power metal band formed in 2018 in Ottawa, Canada. Their sound draws on the likes of Riot, Tokyo Blade and Helloween, and it’s marked by harmonized guitars and the high-flying vocals of JP Abboud (formerly of Traveler, Gatekeeper and Borrowed Time, among others), who joined The Scepter in 2025 and recorded the vocals for the debut album »Shadows in the Tower«.
The Scepter have made a name for themselves as a convincing live act. More shows are on the way, and they’ll be playing the debut »Shadows in the Tower« at them.
