These Wicked Rivers, British blues rockers from Derby who draw their inspiration from the rich legacy of rock legends and the big names of the blues, released their new and third studio album “Fire And Folklore” on Fat Earth Records on October 2, 2026.
To celebrate the release, they’ve dropped yet another new single (and video) from the album, for the track Rise, which you can check out below.
The singles Sing Another Song and Horse To Water are also up for grabs below.
“Fire and Folklore” was recorded in Belper, Derbyshire. Production duties went to Grammy-winning producer Andy Sneap (Judas Priest, Saxon) and Colin Richardson (Trivium, Massive Wagons, Those Damn Crows). “Fire and Folklore” goes beyond the band’s signature “wizard-blues rock” sound and heads into new sonic territory, weaving in shades of country and Southern melodies while still keeping the groove and soul that define the band. The album also features country star Kezia Gill, who hails from Derbyshire as well.
Guitarist Arran Day says of the new album: “We’re really proud of this new collection of rock’n’roll magic we’ve created together. Every track reflects the strength of spirit and the love we want to share, so we can’t wait for you to spin the record and join our revolution.”
