Tuomas Saukkonen is without a doubt a workaholic. Before founding Wolfheart, he played in Before the Dawn, Black Sun Aeon, Dawn of Solace and a few other bands. He’s also active as a producer. On top of that, he runs the label OneManArmy, which helps promote up-and-coming Finnish metal bands.
When he disbanded all his projects a few years ago and started Wolfheart, controversy flared up over whether he could top the popularity of Before the Dawn. But soon after the debut, the positive reviews started rolling in, and Wolfheart kept grinding away, picking up more and more supporters with every passing day.
This year, Saukkonen put out Wolfheart’s second album, Shadow World (review HERE), and promoted it on a European tour alongside Swallow the Sun. Right before the show in Ljubljana, at Orto Bar, he took a few minutes to talk about Wolfheart.
