Von Groove, the American melodic hard rockers, will release their new studio album “Born To Rock” on May 15, 2026. The album is coming out via the Italian label Frontiers Music Srl.
Below you’ll find the second single, Fearless, which comes with a video too. Before that, the band announced the new album with the title-track single.
You can already pre-order the album “Born To Rock”.
Von Groove recorded the new album with the classic lineup: Mladen on guitar, Michael Shotton on drums and vocals, and Matthew Gerrard on bass. This isn’t just a comeback, it’s a resurrection!
Their first studio album since 2001, it feels like time hasn’t moved an inch since 1992. With the new record, Von Groove stay true to their roots.
Von Groove formed in 1990. Their self-titled debut from 1992, produced by Richie Zito and featuring Deen Castronovo (later of Journey) as a guest drummer, remains a genre landmark. It was followed by “Mission Man” (released in Europe as “Chameleon”), “Test of Faith” and “The Seventh Day”. Despite the break after 2001, the band members stayed active.
The tracklist for “Born To Rock” is as follows:
1. Born To Rock
2. Fearless
3. Champion
4. Adrenaline
5. Angela

7. Do It All Over Again
