Yes, the British pioneers of progressive rock, have announced that they’ve been forced to postpone their upcoming UK tour celebrating the album “Fragile”, because guitarist Steve Howe needs to go in for surgery right away.

Yes were supposed to hit the road at the end of this month for a nine-day UK run, kicking off in Glasgow, Scotland and wrapping up with two nights at the London Palladium in May. The band had planned to play the whole of “Fragile” in the set, along with a selection of songs released throughout the seventies, right up to their latest album, “Mirror To The Sky”.

The band is currently working on rescheduling the dates, and is telling all the fans who bought tickets for the cancelled UK tour to hang on to them, since they’ll remain valid for the rebooked dates.
