Evergrey, the Swedish dark progressive metallers from Gothenburg, have announced their 15th studio album “Architects Of A New Weave”, due out on 5.6.2026 via Austrian label Napalm Records.
Below you’ll find the second single from the album, with a video for the track The World Is On Fire. Before that, the band dropped the title single from the new album, “Architects of a New Weave”.
“Architects Of A New Weave” will be available in all formats (and several variants), and you can already pre-order it!
The new album brings all the trademarks of the band’s signature sonic and compositional artistry. On A Burning Flame, Tom S. Englund is joined for a vocal duet by a special guest, Gothenburg melodic death metal icon Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity, The Halo Effect, Grand Cadaver, Cemetery Skyline).
“Architects Of A New Weave” was produced by Tom S. Englund and Vikram Shankar, with the mix handled by Adam “Nolly” Getgood.
Among the exclusive formats of “Architects Of A New Weave”, the CD version with a bonus disc is worth singling out. It features two extra tracks, Heights and One Heart, as well as the album mix of the previously released standalone single Oxygen (2025), which is otherwise left off the new album. The bonus disc also adds a demo version of Longing and an instrumental version of Leaving The Emptines (both of them new tracks), plus a live version of Falling From The Sun, a hit from the previous album “Theories of Emptiness” (2024) and a continuation of Ominous from “A Heartless Portrait (The Orphean Testament)”, released in 2022.
